Themed "Charting New Frontiers: Empowering Learners through Technology Enhanced Personalised Learning", the hybrid event was co-organised by Mahidol University (MU) and Universiti Malaya (UM) and attended by academics and industry practitioners from universities in the ASEAN region, including Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam and Singapore. This included 60 like-minded senior leaders and key personnel participating in person and the rest tuning in virtually to the many segments of the two-day event. This event also marks a key milestone in the renewal of a 3-year MOU amongst the lead and co-leading universities, including Universiti Brunei Darussalam, who are strengthening their involvement as our newest co-lead.
The workplan seminar brought together like-minded AUN+3 universities to hear from key opinion leaders, connect with university change agents, share insights and explore the implementation of collaborative projects in, but not limited to, the following 4 key areas:
Co-create faculty development resources that can stimulate TEPL
Facilitate the multi-lateral exchange of courses for credit transfer across universities
Share and amplify the use of digital learning resources on MERLOT
Collaborate on TEPL research projects
