SMU hosted the third episode of Perspectives - “Work, Money and Retirement Puzzle: How to solve it?” which featured an esteemed panel of thought leaders including Prof Bryce Hool, Dean of School of Economics. The panel discussion was recorded in front of an audience made up of SMU faculty, staff, students and guests at the SMU Hall. The discussion centred on how the changes in demographics imply a need for us to start rethinking about retirement planning and the issues surrounding it. An interesting question raised during the discussion was, “Given the difference in longevity, should men and women consider doing their retirement planning separately?”
