Enabling Institutional Collaborations through the Sharing of Open Educational Resources and Practices

Higher education leadership and strategies for opening quality education for more people can be strengthened and accelerated by institutional collaborations in open education.  Leveraging the open educational resources and practices shared by a network of higher education institutions enables each individual campus to reuse, revise, remix, retain, and redistribute curriculum and pedagogies that have already been accepted by sister institutions. Each institution can scale their open educational strategies faster, more effectively, and in more affordable ways.  The presentation will review MERLOT’s tools and strategies that can be freely implemented and customized by the ASEAN community to reach their AUN-TEPL goals.
